Hi, I’m Alicia! I’m a Long Island Millennial therapist who actually gets it. I specialize in guiding Millennial and Gen Z women through the noise—tackling burnout, high-functioning anxiety, and trauma so you can stop performing and start living.

I get it. You're the one who keeps it all together. Manages the calendar, says yes when every part of you is screaming no, and shows up perfectly in every role while quietly falling apart behind the scenes.

I know that version of exhausted because I've lived it. I'm a high-functioning people-pleaser in recovery, which is a fancy way of saying I spent a long time stretching myself thin for everyone else before I finally figured out how to find my own voice underneath all that yes.

That's exactly why I'm here. Not to repeat a textbook at you, but to help you do the same thing I had to do: stop performing okay and start actually feeling it.

This Isn’t Your Mom’s Therapy

Sessions with me are your one hour that's actually about you. We connect the dots, map the patterns, and build something that actually sticks, with real honesty, genuine presence, and zero script.

One hour. All yours.
No performing required. No nodding along. Just the real work, finally.

Real talk, no filter.
I bring lived experience and clinical tools to meet your story exactly where it is. Messy, complex, and all.

Actual progress.
We don't just process. We map your patterns, challenge what's not working, and build growth that sticks.

A Decade in the Thick of It

My LCSW and clinical degrees are proof I've mastered the brain science. But the real work happened in the field. I spent seven years in oncology at the hospital, doing direct crisis response for survivors of sexual assault, and collaborating with medical teams and psychiatrists. I currently work as a High School Social Worker, which means I have real-time, daily insight into anxiety, ADHD, family dynamics, and the pressure cooker of modern life. That's not textbook knowledge. That's the room.

I bring all of it into sessions with you. Not to impress you with the resume, but because depth of experience is what lets me meet you exactly where you are, without flinching, without a script, and without wasting your time.

Who I Work With

I work primarily with Millennials and Gen Z, high-achieving women, new mothers, teens and young adults, and high-functioning professionals who are managing everything on the outside while quietly running on empty on the inside. If you've ever found yourself wondering why you can't just be grateful when everything looks fine on paper, you're probably exactly who I had in mind.

How I Work

My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, direct, and genuinely tailored to you. I pull from evidence-based frameworks like CBT, DBT, and ERP alongside somatic work, inner child work, and family systems therapy, not because it's the clinical standard, but because real change requires working on both what's happening in your head and what's stored in your body. Every session is focused on pattern recognition: figuring out where your habits started, why they're still running, and how to actually rewire them.

Availability

I offer weekday afternoon and evening sessions, with flexible daytime availability in the summer. We can meet in person at The Nest's East Setauket office, inside Revival Strength & Recovery Wellness Center, or virtually anywhere across New York State. Not sure which format is right for you? We'll figure that out together on your free consult.

ABOUT ME

Outside the office you'll find me chasing sunsets at West Meadow, a decade deep into beach volleyball with the Volley Llamas, and absolutely not talking to anyone until the Earl Grey tea is finished. I'm raising two daughters with my high school sweetheart in the same town we grew up in.

A happy couple embracing on a sandy beach at sunset, with the man leaning in while holding the woman and both smiling.

Born, raised, and currently raising my own family right here on Long Island. I know the rhythm, the pressure, and that relentless pull to keep it all together.

I'm a Millennial who speaks fluently in GIFs, a Capricorn who always has a plan (or at least the illusion of one), and a therapist who genuinely loves this work, dark humor absolutely included. If that sounds like your kind of people, I think we'll get along just fine.

Let's see if we're the right fit.

No pressure, no commitment. Just a free vibe check call to see if we're actually the right fit, ask the questions you've been sitting on, and figure out your next right step together.
