Hey, I’m Rob! I'm the kind of therapist who makes it easy to say the thing you've never said out loud. Reality-based, action-oriented, and completely judgment-free, I specialize in men's health and couples therapy while also working with teens, women, and college-age adults. I don't just help you process. I help you actually change. Outside the office I'm a family guy, a Bills fan, and a firm believer that the best conversations happen when nobody's performing.

I get it. You know what the problem is. You just can't seem to stop doing it anyway.

You've Googled it. You've talked about it. You might have even tried therapy before. But knowing what's wrong and actually changing it are two completely different things. That gap is exactly where I do my best work.

That's why I'm here. Not to help you process in circles, but to help you connect the dots, build real skills, and actually start showing up differently in your life, your relationships, and your own head.

This Isn't Talk Therapy for the Sake of Talking

My sessions are built for people who are ready to actually do something. We connect the dots, call out the patterns, and build real skills you can use the moment you walk out the door. Honest, direct, and completely judgment-free.

One hour. All yours.
No dancing around it. No generic advice. Just straight talk and a plan that actually fits your life.

Real talk, no filter.
I bring clinical depth and zero pretense to every session, meeting you exactly where you are, whether that's stuck, frustrated, or just finally ready.

Actual progress.
We don't just talk about change. We map what's keeping you stuck, sharpen how you communicate, and build growth that holds up in the real world.

Real Experience. Real Talk.

My MSW from Stony Brook and my background in psychology are the foundation. But what I actually bring into the room with you goes beyond the degree. I've spent years working with teens, couples, and men navigating some of the hardest moments of their lives, and I show up to every session the same way: direct, grounded, and completely without judgment.

I bring all of it into sessions with you. Not to lead with the credentials, but because real experience is what lets me meet you exactly where you are, call out what's keeping you stuck, and help you actually move forward.

Who I Work With

I work with teens, women, college-age adults, and men who are ready to stop circling the same patterns and actually do something different. I have a deep specialization in men's health and couples therapy. On the men's health side that means new dads navigating the identity shift nobody prepared them for, young men figuring out dating, career direction, and the quiet erosion of self-esteem that comes with feeling stuck, and mid-life men questioning what actually matters now. On the couples side I work with partners who are done playing games and ready to have the real conversation, whether that's figuring out if they're in this together or finally addressing what's been left unsaid for years. No runaround. Just honest work.

How I Work

My approach is reality-based, action-oriented, and completely judgment-free. I use a blend of CBT, the Gottman Method, EFT, and solution-focused therapy to help you connect the dots between what you know and what you actually do. We build on your strengths, bring in inner child work when the moment calls for it, and I will call you out when you need that push. Sessions are honest, direct, and built around real change, not just insight.

ABOUT ME

A man with glasses, beard, and dark hair sitting on a stool near a window with sunlight, holding his hands together in his lap, wearing a black short-sleeve shirt, navy pants, a watch, and a beaded bracelet, with a plant in the background.

Outside the office you'll find me hiking a new trail, planning the next trip, or screaming at the TV for the Bills and the Mets. I'm big on family time with my daughter, just as happy doing absolutely nothing hygge-style at home, and always have a podcast going somewhere in the background.

Born and raised on Long Island, I'm now raising my own family here too. I know the pressure, the pace, and what it actually takes to slow down long enough to take care of yourself. That's a big part of why I do this work.

I'm a Millennial who will talk to anyone, a try-anything-once guy who also deeply values a slow Sunday, and a therapist who genuinely believes the best breakthroughs happen when nobody's performing. If that sounds like your kind of people, I think we'll get along just fine.

Let's see if we're the right fit.

No pressure, no commitment. Just a free vibe check call to see if we're actually the right fit, ask the questions you've been sitting on, and figure out your next right step together.
